Popular roles attract hundreds of applications. Many resumes are AI-optimized with perfect keywords. You spend valuable time on phone screens only to discover communication gaps.
"All the right keywords. Great experience on paper. Then they get on the phone and can't articulate a single project."
"15 minutes in, I know it's not a fit. But I've already lost 30 minutes of prep + call time."
"I just want to know if they can communicate before I block off my calendar."
SoapboxGen gives job seekers a platform to create video profiles. You get a free signal on communication skills, personality, and presence—before you ever pick up the phone.
Watch 10 videos in the time it takes to phone screen 2 candidates. Filter out bad fits before they reach your calendar.
Can they explain their background clearly? Do they have the presence you need for client-facing roles? You'll know in 30 seconds.

No. Videos are opt-in for candidates. Not every applicant will have one. You choose whether to watch based on the role and the candidate.
Video does introduce new considerations around bias. However, many hiring managers already use video (LinkedIn profiles, Zoom calls, company websites) as part of their research. SoapboxGen simply moves that step earlier and makes it standardized—same length, same format for everyone.
SoapboxGen includes real-time quality coaching. Before candidates record, we check lighting, framing, and audio—giving feedback like "Move closer to the camera" or "Face the window for better lighting." Videos look professional even without professional equipment.
Not at launch. Initially, candidates will include SoapboxGen links directly in their resumes or cover letters. ATS integration is on our roadmap based on hiring manager feedback.
